A little bit About Us

We’re Eva’s Basket, a small pet treat company based in Richmond Hill, Ontario, born from one simple truth: love makes us do wonderful (and slightly obsessive) things for our pets.

Our journey began with our first dog, Eva, who we adored endlessly—but she refused to eat her vegetables. We tried everything: blending, disguising, cooking them in fresh meat... yet she’d always find a way to pick out every last piece.

Determined to nourish her with healthy ingredients, we started experimenting. Since we’d been making bone broth for ourselves, we thought—why not for her? We swapped her water for broth, soaked her veggies in a slow cooker, and watched in amazement as she finally started eating them! From there, we blended the veggies into the broth and added a splash of creamy goat milk for probiotics. It was a hit—Eva was happily eating her veggies at last.

When we shared this discovery with friends, we realized we weren’t alone. Many pet parents faced the same struggle: wanting clean, nutritious food their pets actually enjoyed. So we began sharing our creations.

Then one day, a batch of blended veggies turned a beautiful pink, and something clicked. Why should healthy food look dull? We started experimenting with natural colours, creative plating, and fun shapes—turning pet nutrition into something joyful and playful.

To preserve those colourful, wholesome recipes, we turned to freeze-drying—locking in flavour, nutrition, and charm in every bite.

Today, Eva’s Basket is all about making healthy treats fun. Every piece is homemade, preservative-free, and crafted with love, so your pets can taste the care that goes into every bite. Because just like Eva, your pets deserve treats that make them happy and healthy. 💛
